First Week of Daycare

I think daycare was harder on me (and Will) then Tyler.

He got an "incident report" on Wed. Another baby rolled across the mat they play on and bumped T's head. He didn't cry and seemed fine but I bet the whole staff was glad to see Will walk in to get him not me :). Of course that is going to happen and didn't bother me but I am sure they were nervous after my crying spell in there the first day.

The teachers for the last two days have said T's motor skills are more advanced than the other babies his age and some of the older kiddos. I was super proud! And glad to hear it. Not only the cutest baby in the class but the most competent.

The teachers are nice and really seem to like Tyler he is always in a prime attention spot when I come in - someone holding him, the swing, or playing on the mat. They said today he was laying on the mat talking to himself in the mirror. I am sure he was wondering where the super cute baby came from.

The teachers also said he is so sweet and happy. He smiles at them when we leave everyday so I think we will make it through.

I will say it's exhausting to do the night or morning shift work all day and then come home and play and dinner and bottles bottles bottles ha ha. We are getting a routine slowly but surely and it will get easier.
