Tyler got a Tickle Me Elmo. The video is pretty funny. He laughs at first and then gives him this look of 'Whoa, you are taking that way too far'.

Trying out food

We started trying food with Tyler and needless to say he was not terribly impressed. I really thought he would be all about it since he is such a big eater. He had no interest in rice cereal so we moved on to apple sauce, sweet potatoes and then finally roasted butternut squash. He liked the squash - I guess he has a sophisticated pallet :).
The picture is from Will feeding him applesauce. His distaste for it is pretty clear.
Right now he still really likes the squash and bananas. I have been making most of his baby food and that is going well. Its pretty easy and the jar kind grosses me out. We will see how this lasts, but for the time being it works!

Boxes

Well Tyler is a growing guy, in 20 short weeks he had blown through his newborn clothes, three months and six months. He is currently in nine month clothes and I wonder if we won't be in the 'T's before he hits a nine months at this rate.
I boxed up all his clothes, my maternity clothes and various other new born things and we were three boxes deep! So glad we have an attic.
Fast Forward

I hope to catch everything up, but we will see. In case I don't 'get to it' thought I would start over from where we are now.
Tyler is 20 weeks old! My gosh where has the time gone? It seems just yesterday we were on our way to the hospital.
Tyler has started daycare at Goddard and seems to like it. He is always happy to see his teachers and was one of three 'new babies' that started at the first of January. He got the front and center crib which is clearly indicative of him being the cutest and favorite.
In the last two weeks he has been sick - a lot (oh the joys of daycare) . He had a bout of RSV which was pretty scary and landed us in the emergency room. Although he was/is okay I hope we don't ever have to return. He did 'well' with the RSV and then proceeded to get another virus. He seems to be shaking that well and although not 100% he is happier and headed in the right direction. Everyone cross your fingers that Monday is not another reinfestation of germs.
Everyone tells me that they either get it now or when they start kindergarten. I hate for him to be sick so young and its heartbreaking. Hopefully we will be in a healthier season ahead.
Tyler is a very smiley and happy baby. We feel very blessed he is so 'easy' not to say we don't have some rough nights. Right now he is sleeping in the swing full time but as the RSV winds down we are trying to get him back in the pac and play. Yes, I said the pac and play. Tyler is still in our room. I hope to move him to his own room/crib in a month but we will see - it's so far away from our room. Not to mention Will is completely against it. He does even share of night shifts so his vote counts.
