Note from Mrs Bosher

I have such a soft spot for Tyler and I have just got to share this sweet moment with you:

Firstly, he is truly one of the absolute sweetest students I have ever had. Not just to me, but to everyone, He says the kindest things, always shares, and is always really, truly happy for everyone when they succeed! It is the most precious thing to see and hear. It is something I can't say about most students and it is my favorite thing about him. He has the most positive outlook and his excitement is so infectious.

Today at the end of the day, for really no prompted reason, he came to me and said, "Mrs. Bosher, I just love you so much! My heart.. it like.. hurts or something because I just love you so much!" He gave me a big hug and asked me if it made me feel good and we talked about how nice it is to make others happy. He did that for no reason and it totally made my day!

Thank you for sending me such a wonderful, sweet, kind-hearted student to share my year with!

Have a great day (and thanks for the club reminder!)

First day of Kinder in the books!

We had a successful drop off. No tears. When I think about all the time we worried about Tyler and him being kinder ready.... Two ear drum graphs and two plus years of speech therapy we had all worked hard and had a lot of agsnt to prepare for this day.  We walked in confident that he was ready.  It was time he was ready.

My mom was so sweet and sent me a preparedness package containing many helpful items.

Breath, relax, let go - she told me. Thanks mom ;)

Night before picture in a men's large shirt we hope to take a picture in it every year until graduation.

The big day

Mrs Bosher's class an apple for the first day. I heard him talking about how he hoped she would think it was so nice of him rehearsing the conversation. So cute!  She was happy.

And then we left and he was fine and a new chapter is here. Oh and insanely early mornings.

Will and I couldn't be more proud of our sweet, smart, inquisitive boy.

Favorite drink: lemonade
Best friend: Lucy
Favorite color: blue
Favorite toy(s): transformers (oh and he himself can transform)

Camp Troxel

Mom and Dad went to Maui - Dad won the sales trip.  Tyler and Travis went to Camp Troxel.

This week I have used a nail gun, jumped in the deep end of the pool, swan across the  pool,  dived down for torpedos, picked and ate carrots out of the garden, picked and water the tomatoes, went to see the bees, closed the gate, met Darla the mail lady, made cookies with Allie, took one nap, made silly dog pictures with Allie.  I wished nanny happy birthday.

I sleep without socks and without my pjs at nap time.  I swam by my self across the bathtub (hot tub)  played with Tyler's Legos.  I picked tomatoes, climb on papa's trailers.  I ate watermelon by the pool.  I walked away with grandpa, I worked on my magic and can get candy from my iPad.  I liked the gingerbread man story and good night moon on my iPad. I told stories where the fox ate Allie and Tyler.

Travis 3 year check up

All is good for this guy. He does think his last name is 'Tyler's brother' and will argue with you about it. He is on track for height and in 88th percentile for weight proving the one meal he eats a day is doing something. Of course we would appreciate if he would tell us what meal he plans to eat so that we don't prepare three but he's not up for that.
He's three and stubborn, demanding, screaming, no saying and all with his classic smile.... Oh toddler days.
I write this as I sit in his room waiting for him to fall asleep because now that he is in a big boy bed he has an amazing amount of power.
Me and Trav side by side - similar smile 😀
And a little how I feel lately
Love every bit of him. As we all say even Tyler 'he's still learning'.

Tyler's first lost tooth

I will say I was not at all prepared for this to happen at 5.  Loosing teeth has been on my freak out list and didn't expect it at early 5. Last week Tyler said one of his toothes was wiggly and before we knew it-it was barely hanging on. This morning as Will was brushing Tyler's teeth they noticed it was gone.  We searched for it but could not find it so he wrote a letter to the tooth fairy saying he lost it.  Technically he said he would prefer to keep his tooth than give it to the tooth fairy but I don't think with the way goods come into our house (via Amazon) that he has a very good concept of money. Nanny put him to bed with his tooth shark and his letter.
He was clearly happy at this big boy badge of honor.
