Thank God for strep throat

Took the boys to Urgent Care because Travis said his throat hurt. Tyler insisted Travis go first and then when it was Tyler's turn the doctor asked if he had put something in his ear. Tyler was shy then admitted a rock at nap time at school on Friday. Oh the joys... After a call to the ENT on Monday we went in and Tyler was super duper brave and good ole Dr. Zapata got the rock out without a tear.  

No rocks or anything in our ears or up our nose... Is being said daily.  

Kitchen Reno/Remodel

We started a kitchen renovation and let the boys have their hand at demo.

Sour Candy

Picked the boys up from school and said I had a treat if everyone cooperated on getting into the car. It was sour chewy sweatarts.

Sweet Berry Farms

School was closed today for Columbus Day so we decided to make the most of it and go to Sweet Berry Farms. We had a great time but it was 100 degrees and couldn't stay as long as we wanted. We had fun, picked flowers, picked pumpkins and jumped on a giant trampoline. 

Kiddie Acres

We went to a fun birthday party for our neighbor Luke. Boys loved it. The soccer team and neighborhood crew were there. 

Happy Half Birthday Travis

It's tough to have a birthday two days after Christmas so instead of having more chaos following Christmas we did a half birthday party this year. Travis was so happy to have a party. 

We were there before the bouce houses were blown up which lead to many questions. 

It's noisy when they turn them on. 

We had a lot of fun!

Broke a few rules. 

Played with lots of friends. 

Had a cake with a '2' and an 'ish' since he wasn't actually turning 2. Nanny made the cake! 

It was a big hit. 

Ellie decapitatied Micky. 

But our super tall friend Jason saved the day. 

Grandma made fun gift bags. 

We are lucky to have Nanny and Grandma to make Birthdays special.

Texas

The school play was a Texas theme. Both  boys did great. First year to have them both in the performance.  

Grandma, Papa and Nanny all came to see!  

 Next year Tyler will be a graduate!  That is crazy and makes me happy and sad. 

Travis and all his stuff

Travis likes to take lots of stuff with him right now. He was cracking me up this morning with all the stuff he was trying to take to school with him.

The trains kept falling out of the paw patrol tower so he finally gave up on that. 

It's Wednesday so we gave up chasing the garbage truck around the neighborhood for this entertainment. 

Happy Birthday Travis

Well I wrote this on Travis' second birthday but it didnt post.  The correct date would have been 12/27/14.....
My baby is two!/

Travis is a funny guy so smart and so sweet when he wants to be. He likes anything Tyler likes. He loves his big brother and follows him around doing whatever Tyler does. 

He smiles all the time. He has lots of words and will repeat anything you ask him too and asks what's that all the time. 

He loves sweets and never dare say the word candy unless you are prepared to hand some over. 

He is shy at first when meeting new people but that doesn't last long. 

He has been so much fun and the last two years have gone by so fast it is bitter sweet and daily I wish I could freeze time.
