'No'

I was changing Tyler and he was reaching for something, skirming around and I told him 'no', he looked back at me gave me a very cute smile and told me 'no'. What is a mom to do other than get excited and say, you said no! He says it back to us all the time. First word - mama, second word - dada, third word - no - oh the start to the back talk? Very cute.

Port Aransas with the Family

We went to Port A with Nanny, Molly and the twins. We had a great time enjoyed some time in the sun and great food. Aiden and Kennedy were really great at feeding Tyler and entertaining him. We surprised Nanny with a 'recreated' photo she had of Will and Molly

Vampire Baby

Tyler got his his two teeth next to his front two teeth first. It was pretty funny. Not to worry he was not harmed in the taking of this photo, he was already screaming so I just took advantage of the photo opportunity.

Baby Weisner

Our great and long time friends Brandy and Mark were expecting their first baby and did not find out the gender. Will was certain it was a boy, and I thought a girl right off the bat but wavered through out the wait. Lucy Ryan Weisner was born July 6th weighing in at 6 lbs 14oz. A truly beautiful baby girl. We were all very happy for them, to meet her, and finally find out if it was a boy or a girl.
Tyler visited Lucy in the hospital to get acquainted with his new best friend.

4th of July

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. My mom and Lenord have a huge BBQ and I was so excited to have Tyler there and show off our super cute boy. He swam and played and had a great time. My grandma and grandpa came (Tyler's Great grand and gram) and had the only picture with him. I must get better about pictures. Grandma Libby gave Tyler a silver brush that belonged to my father. It is very nice and very sweet of her. I am glad to have it.

He had a great time and it was so exciting to have his first 4th - notably missing were the Weisners. Brandy was less than a week from her due date and they didn't make it. He did see lots of family and friends.

New album

Pseudo First Hair Cut

Tyler didn't really have enough hair to cut but was growing a bit of a mullet. As Will said 'business in the front, party in the back'. As his first 4th of July BBQ approached we decided the mullet must go. He was excited about all the attention at first, but was less then thrilled at the end. I didn't want to cut all his hair, I am hoping is will grow longer and curl up but we did have to take almost an inch off the back.
