Keyley went to Heaven

Sadly Keyley died today. She was such a good, crazy loving girl that had a thing for playing fetch. We will miss our first 'baby'. 

Yesterday Tyler said 'everybody loves Keyley all the time'. 

Miss her already. 

4 years old

Today (in 5 minutes) Tyler turns 4. I can't believe it. 3 has been such a fun age I hate to see it go. 

Tyler is smart, curious, the sweetest soul I have ever known. He genuinely cares for others, he is a great big brother. He makes me laugh every day he never stops talking but he is very entertaining. He loves to pretend play fire fighter, loves his iPad, asks lots of questions, is a rule follower, recently got a pair of heavy work boots that he really likes, loves his scooter and to race (we currently have a start and finish line in our living room). 

I love him so much. 

Rainbow

We have a chalk board wall in our kitchen. Tyler got a colors book about the rainbow and drew this all by himself.  He asked for white and I said there isn't white in the rainbow but clearly I forgot the clouds. He got all the colors right in the right order. 

Funny guy

This morning in the car Tyler had the volume too loud on his iPad and I told him to turn it down and he said 'okay mommy sorry for scaring your ears'. He makes me laugh everyday.

Why?

Tyler asked his first why today - why can't I drink gaterade in the car?  Well because it will make a mess....  

And here is to many many more whys :) I am sure we will get tired of them but thank God for google for the complex ones.

Travis' favorite time of day because he gets to be close to Tyler. So fun to see them play together and those laughs just make me so happy. Love it

On Tuesday 1/28 we had an ice day. There wasn't much in our neighborhood -  Tyler's school cancelled but Travis' didn't we decided last minute to send Tyler to Travis' school and Will went to drop them off. Unfortunately he was in a head on collision. After a trip in an ambulance an MRI and a lot of x-rays and a huge amount of fear he went home the same day with nothing broken but a lot of soarness.  We are so grateful that Will is okay, the other people were, the boys weren't in the car and really a billion other things that could have happened differently. 

Just like Daddy

Tyler had to wear sunglasses and his brown hat just like daddy. He also has to hang the sunglasses on his shirt when dad does. 

Goliath

The housekeepers put Goliath in Tyler's chair (which was his great granny and poppa's) and so he wanted to sit on the bears lap for books tonight. He also requested a picture so I of course had to take one. 

Then after negotiating about why the bear couldn't sleep in his bed we had to put him to bed next to Tyler. Of course who can go to bed without a pillow and a blanket. 

And Tyler's funny because he says 'Smile Cheese Smile'. Such a sweet fun little guy and adamant about what he wants.
