Goodbye Busleigh Castle
We moved! We sold the house we lived in for almost nine years and have moved to Austin. We are closer to town, have more space, and trees in our yard. I thought I would be a little more sad to leave the house we spent so much time in. Where we brought Tyler home to and made our home for such a long time, it was a great place for us but I think we were all ready. I think Tyler's mural on his wall is the thing I will really miss. Here's Tyler kissing this place goodbye!

So Far Behind!
We have been very busy the last few months. I am going to try and get this up to date as much as I can. We had our house on the market and I didn't have a good computer to maintain this on. Sorry about that look for lots of exciting updates!

Pics from Sea World
Pictures from Sea World - San Antonio. Tyler loved it they have the toddler thing down so we all had a good time. He loved the water park part. We didn't make any shows - we attempted the sea lion show but T being a busy body boy we weren't there for long.
See the previous post for all the Elmo excitement but when we got to the car there was an Elmo doll in T's car seat. He was so thrilled. He hugged him and played with him for a good part of the journey to Port Aransas.

Meeting Elmo
We took Tyler to Sea World - other photos and a post to follow but he got to meet Elmo. T loves Elmo and we were interested to see if he liked seeing a big Elmo or was upset but he loved it!!!! It was so fun. The Elmo visits are 'closed sets' but Will was able to get this short video (by the way we bought the photo so they really should have just let us filmed). He was so happy and since it was a slow day in the park he got to spend a few minutes with him. Tyler had such a great time it was awesome to see him SO excited! Elmo walked him to the door but T cried when we left.

I love it! It's ALIVE! Okay, I it's cool.
Grandma and Grandpa got Tyler a remote control car. He played with it at the resturant before it could move and loved it!
After his nap he woke up and I was excited to see what he thought of it moving. I envisioned him chasing it and having so much fun.
I seemed to have forgotten at his age anything that moves is quite possibly 'alive'.
After a few times of playing with it he finally decided it was cool and we came full circle. Now he takes it to us to make it light up and move so we have moved in the right direction.

Risky Business
Tyler got a really bad diaper rash so they recommended we put underwear on him when possible so his little bottom could heal. Well it was an interesting event that resulted int three underwear changes in an hour and half but he looked pretty cute. These photos are from my camera so they aren't great.
A Little Behind - Here's an Update!
After all our Scout activity in December its been forever since I posted anything. Where did December go?
Here are the latest Tyler happenings:
Words - momma, dadda, no, dog, ball, book, more, all done, this?, lights, duck, monitor and uh oh. He also say moo for cows. I think he probablly says more and we just dont understand him yet.
His favorite toys are his broom, anything elmo, Scout the dog (not to be confused with Scout the elf) books and his giant bear.
He loves his blanket (the tags specifically), blueberries and cheese.
He really likes flipping the light switch, closing doors and pulling tissues and wipes out of their containers.
He can stir and sweep, he loves to dance and he imitates so many things its scary. See the picture - trying to be just like dad? :)He can also give a very cute sassy face... maybe that's from me?
He refuses to wear bibs - hence the food on his shirt.
He is a good sleeper her goes to bed well usually plays in his crib for a while and really doesnt wake up in the middle of the night - I am very grateful and I know very lucky too.
He goes through phases of having a fit when we take him to daycare or when he gets picked up.
His naughties are trying to destroy the blinds - they should always be half up but Will keeps lowering them and biting. The biting thing has become a bigger problem at daycare. He seems to do it a lot and I have seen it so I know its real... We are giving him a teething toy at school now and yesterday was the first day and they said it helped so hopefully it will be a good solution. His teachers say he isn't ding it to be aggressive but rather when he is excited. Ugh, when they are 16 months old what do you do? Honestly, I am taking suggestions.
